Late Scratches & No-Show Policy

To ensure fair access to tee times and to respect the time and effort involved in organizing club events, the following policy applies to all registered participants:

Cancellations & No-Shows

• Less than 7 days’ notice or no-show:
  $50 administrative fee will be invoiced to the member.  If your spot is filled, penalties may be waived at the discretion of the Board or event chair(s).

• Second offense:
  $50 administrative fee plus $25 fine

• Third offense:
  Loss of club playing privileges (duration determined by the Board)

 

Offenses accumulate within the current golf season.

Extenuating Circumstances

If extenuating circumstances require a late withdrawal, the member must notify the event chair(s) or bdgcnews@gmail.com as soon as possible. Event chairs will make a best-effort attempt to fill the open spot.

Weather & Course Conditions

• If the course is open, play will proceed as scheduled.

• If conditions are deemed unplayable by the course, participants may receive a rain check or refund, as determined by the course.

• Frost delays or weather-related cancellations will be communicated via email and text message.
